Delivery & Fulfillment
Heritage Flowers remains committed to delivering your flower orders and important emotional sentiments on time, and as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because of the present health crisis that led to an unprecedented scarcity of flowers and plants, we may at times need to substitute certain flowers if we do not have the original stem in stock. Rest assured that our possible substitutions will never affect the total value, look or feel of the arrangement.
No Contact Deliveries
The safety of our customers and recipients is our number one priority. Our drivers follow all safety guidelines for COVID-19 and have adapted the guidelines of (CDC). Social distancing is practiced through our contactless delivery, and may in some cases necessitate leaving floral products or arrangements at the door or porch.
All orders for express delivery are processed immediately after we receive them. We make every effort to have express orders delivered by 2pm. If your order is not delivered by 2pm and you selected the express delivery option at checkout, we can credit you back the express fee upon request.
Same Day Delivery
If you order before 12PM in the recipient’s time zone, we can typically deliver the flowers the same day Monday through Saturday.
For your convenience, we also offer free and fast curbside pickup should you wish to pick up your order. Upon arrival, please call 984-295-8511 and select option 7 for pickup.
Due to incoming order volume and scheduling, we are unable to provide exact delivery times. However, rest assured that you will be notified with status updates as your order progresses, and will receive a final notification when your order is delivered! For deliveries going to schools, businesses or funerals, we understand the time sensitive nature of your order. Sometimes weather, short notice and location can make your request not possible, but we will make every effort to make you happy with prompt delivery. During busy holiday times it is very difficult and unlikely that we can meet requests for timed deliveries.
On rare events with factors outside of our direct control, including but not limited to weather, traffic condition, road closure, lack of access to delivery address, recipient unavailability, or incorrect address provided at the time of ordering, the delivery will be attempted again the next business day. We may attempt to contact the recipient to locate the address or schedule a new delivery time and/or date. In the event of a delay, we will also make every effort to notify you. During major flower holidays, deliveries may be made as late as 9PM recipient time.
These orders are our very highest priority. If you place an order too late to make the funeral service, we will contact you directly so that you can make other arrangements or have something sent to the home of the family. If you do not know the zip code or exact address of the funeral home, we can look it up for you. If you have selected a delivery date that is before the actual viewing or funeral, the order will instead be delivered based on the funeral home instructions.
Because of the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers and plants, it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions of equal or greater value. We will make every effort to maintain the “look and feel” of the arrangement by considering the overall shape, size, style, and color combinations. In single-variety arrangements the variety will take precedence over color. For example, white roses and cream roses may be substituted for each other as well as peach roses and pink roses.
Some of our items increase in price around major holidays. If the price increases for the holiday, you will notice the change when you choose a date that is near a major flower holiday. If the price does not go up, then the item does not increase in price for the holidays. Prices normally only increase from Feb 1st until a few days after Valentine’s Day and around Mothers Day.
Some local florists across the U.S, have minimum dollar amounts for orders. We are committed to matching you with a local florist that can fill your order, at the same dollar amount you paid. However, there are rare occasions when the most cost-effective local florist’s minimum, exceeds the amount you paid for your selected item(s). We will contact you if such a situation arises.
Heritage Flowers will be happy to assist you with a request to cancel your order. Unfortunately, if the order is en route for delivery or already delivered, we cannot accommodate the cancellation request. To expedite your request, please call 984-295-8511 to speak with a floral specialist who will be happy to assist you. Please have your order number available when speaking with a member of our team. The order number can be found on your email receipt (if applicable) or would have been provided by the floral specialist when placing your order by phone.
